  • Represent the company to the client (client) and the project manager (architect).
  • Ensure regular reporting to the client on the progress of the work and compliance with budgets.
  • Deliver the sites to the customer per the costs and deadlines stipulated in the specifications.
  • Guarantee the correct application of contracts and amendments related to the work to stakeholders, resolve disputes.
  • Supervise after-sales service and follow-up of associated services (maintenance).

Required Skills

Excellent knowledge of the CONSTRUCTION consultant related to the field in which he operates: infrastructure (tourism, urban planning ...), building (industrial, housing, station). Strong management skills, mainly economic, administrative, and financial. The construction manager must be able to exercise transversal management on the various sites under his responsibility. Ability to negotiate and persuade to coordinate and optimize partnerships with service providers and subcontractors Mastery of the rules and legislation on public-private partnerships when the construction manager acts on behalf of public clients.

Leadership to represent the company manager and unite the teams present on the sites to achieve the project delivery objectives. Diplomacy, adaptability, and political understanding, to be able to take charge of high-level relationships. High availability, because the construction manager must lead several projects from upstream to downstream. Taste for mobility, the function of works manager involving many trips. Fluency in at least one foreign language for international construction sites.

Signing Off

The construction manager can also take over functions of assistance to the contracting authority within the framework of studies of real estate projects.
